247 - A plane flying from São Paulo to Paraty (RJ) crashed on Thursday afternoon, the 19th. According to the Paraty Fire Department, there are three dead and one survivor.
According to initial reports by the legal news website Jota, Justice Teori Zavascki, the Supreme Court justice overseeing the Lava Jato corruption investigation, was one of the passengers.
The Supreme Court confirmed that Teori's name was on the plane's passenger list, and his family confirmed that the minister – who is on vacation – was on the flight.

Residents reported that it was raining heavily in Paraty at the time of the accident.
On the plane was Carlos Alberto Filgueiras Fernandes, owner of the Hotel Emiliano.
The aircraft crashed near Ilha Rasa. A police boat was deployed around 14:50 PM to assist in the search for victims. The Port Authority is also helping with the rescue efforts.
Infraero informed the G1 news portal that the aircraft's registration number is PR-SOM, model Hawker Beechcraft King Air C90. The small aircraft took off at 13:01 PM from Campo de Marte, in São Paulo (SP), bound for Paraty (RJ).
