However, there are no records of these meetings on the official agenda. The only public action the two took together was a visit to a hospital in Brasília on November 16th.
The "Happy Child" program, aimed at providing assistance to poor children in their first three years of life, is one of the few social initiatives of the Temer government, with a budget of R$ 300 million allocated for next year. The goal for 2017 is to reach one million children. In 2016, none of them were included. According to the government, this was because the program was in its implementation phase.
