In a brief meeting with Fachin and Moraes, Bolsonaro calls for "more regular dialogue," and the military guarantees safe elections.

Although the meeting was merely a formality – for the delivery of invitations to a ceremony at the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) – the government viewed the encounter as a "gesture to de-escalate tensions."

247 - The meeting between Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and Supreme Federal Court (STF) ministers Edson Fachin and Alexandre de Moraes lasted only about 15 minutes, according to Bela Megale, from the newspaper. The GlobeBasília Rodrigues, from CNN Brazil, says the meeting didn't last "even 10 minutes".

The ministers went to Bolsonaro to deliver an invitation to the inauguration ceremony of the new presidency of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), which will take place on the 28th.

During the "friendly" meeting, Bolsonaro told Moraes that a "more regular dialogue" between them was important.

Members of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) viewed the meeting as a formality, but government officials said it was also a "gesture of easing tensions" in the relationship with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE): "very positive".

The Minister of Defense, General Walter Braga Neto, and the three commanders of the Armed Forces participated in delivering the invitation. They told Fachin and Moraes that they are available to ensure that the 2022 elections proceed safely. The military personnel were present because they had a meeting scheduled with Bolsonaro before the ministers arrived.

Also present were the Attorney General of the Union, Bruno Bianco, and the National Secretary of Justice, Vicente Santini.
