"Melo Filho recounts the arrival and wait for then Vice President Michel Temer at the dinner held at the Jaburu Palace in May 2014."

“We arrived at the Jaburu Palace and were received by Eliseu Padilha. As Michel Temer had not yet arrived, we chatted about pleasantries in a room to the right of those entering the residence through the main entrance. I believe this room is a library. After Michel Temer arrived, we sat on the veranda in black leather chairs with aluminum frames,” said Melo Filho. The informant precisely enumerates that, in 2014, he made 117 calls to Geddel Vieira Lima, the closest friend he said he had among those mentioned in his testimony. “Disregarding the calls received,” he added.

In another account about Geddel, new details emerge. Melo Filho recounted that both own houses in a gated community on the north coast of Bahia and that they always walked and talked when they were there. He said that the relationship between the two was "notorious" and that one always knew of the other's presence in the community for the following reason: "The caretakers of our houses on the coast are brothers. Therefore, it was common for them to mutually inform us of our presence in the community and of invitations for casual visits. Both are good corroborating witnesses regarding the depth of my relationship with Geddel."
