247 - In testimony to the Federal Police, engineer Luiz Carlos Martins, a whistleblower for Camargo Corrêa, stated that the PMDB party mandated a 10% bribe to former minister Delfim Netto on the value of contracts for the Belo Monte hydroelectric plant construction. The executive declared that he paid R$ 160 in four installments.

On June 25th of last year, the engineer reported that during a meeting in 2012, the then president of Andrade Gutierrez Energia, Flávio Barra, 'informed that of the 1% of the bribe that should be divided between the companies, instead of being 50% for the PT and 50% for the PMDB, it would actually be 45% for each, and 10% would be destined for Delfim Netto'.

"Everyone complained about it, but Flávio informed us that it was a decision made by the PMDB's political agent," the executive stated.

Last week, the Federal Police summoned Delfim Netto to testify and explain why he received R$ 240 from Odebrecht, which was also part of the Belo Monte Consortium. The economist was also mentioned in the plea bargain testimony of the construction company Andrade Gutierrez for allegedly receiving unexplained sums of money in connection with the Belo Monte hydroelectric plant project.
