Bolsonaro's defense team wants Dino and Zanin disqualified from trial.

247 - The defense team for Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the case where the former president is accused of attempting a coup d'état announced that it will request the disqualification of ministers Flávio Dino and Cristiano Zanin from participating in the trial. Both magistrates were appointed to the Supreme Federal Court (STF) by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
According to what was reported by Folha de S. Paul, lawyer Celso Villardi met with the president of the STF, Luís Roberto Barroso, this Monday (25), and informed that he will present a petition asking that the ministers not participate in the trial.
Bolsonaro was indicted by the Attorney General's Office (PGR) for the crimes of attempted coup d'état, attempted abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, leading a criminal organization, aggravated damage through violence or serious threat, and deterioration of listed heritage.
