From Haddad to Weintraub: students ask for a little equality.
"Weintraub says that the ENEM [National High School Exam] doesn't exist to correct injustices. False: when it was reformed in 2009 to replace the federal university entrance exam and enable the SiSU [Unified Selection System], it corrected major injustices. But today, students are asking for something a little different: a little EQUALITY!", said Fernando Haddad.
247 Former presidential candidate Fernando Haddad criticized Education Minister Abraham Weintraub's statement that the ENEM (National High School Exam) was not designed to correct injustices.
"Weintraub says that the ENEM exam doesn't exist to correct injustices. False: when it was reformed in 2009 to replace the federal university entrance exam and enable the SiSU system, it corrected major injustices. But today, students are asking for something a little different: a little EQUALITY!", Haddad wrote on Twitter.
The minister's statement was given during a virtual meeting with senators, according to... Folha de S.Paulo newspaper.
The Ministry of Education confirmed the ENEM exam for November 1st and 8th, even with the country going through the biggest health crisis in its history.
