Criminal shoots at police in São Paulo.
A suspect in an attempted robbery at an Itaú bank branch in the northern part of the capital fired two bursts of gunfire from the roof; no one was injured.
The Military Police (PM) arrested one of the suspects in an attempted robbery at an Itaú bank branch on Avenida Guapira, 2677, in the Tucuruvi neighborhood, in the northern zone of São Paulo. Lying in wait on the roof of the branch, a criminal fired two bursts of shots at the police officers who went to investigate the incident around 0:30 today. The shooter was apprehended and nothing was stolen. He was wearing a bulletproof vest, but the weapon was not found. He confirmed to the police that there were three other people in the gang.
