The INSS Parliamentary Inquiry Commission summons Daniel Vorcaro, from Banco Master.
The owner of Banco Master will testify on February 5th.
247 - The Joint Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPMI) on the INSS (Brazilian National Social Security Institute) has scheduled the testimony of businessman Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, for February 5th. The summons was announced by the commission's president, Senator Carlos Viana (Podemos-MG), who confirmed the date and the names of those summoned through a social media post.
According to the senator, in addition to Vorcaro, Luiz Félix Cardamone Neto was also summoned. In announcing the decision, Viana stated: “We inform Brazil that Daniel Vorcaro and Luiz Félix Cardamone Neto have been summoned to appear this Thursday, February 5th, before the INSS Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry.”
In the same public statement, the president of the Joint Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPMI) emphasized that the commission intends to move forward with the investigations without legal obstacles that prevent the clarification of the facts. "The CPMI will continue to adopt all applicable legal measures to ensure that no one hides behind provisional decisions and that the facts are fully clarified before the Brazilian people," declared the senator.
Carlos Viana also reported that, in the case of businessman Maurício Camisotti, the commission is working to try to overturn a habeas corpus that exempts him from appearing before the committee. According to the senator, the summons of the banker had already been approved at the last meeting of the CPMI in 2025.
In addition to the summons, the members of the commission approved the lifting of banking, tax, and telecommunications secrecy for Daniel Vorcaro. This measure is part of the set of instruments used by the CPMI (Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) to deepen the investigations related to suspicions involving the INSS (National Institute of Social Security) and financial institutions.
