Jerusa, the call girl, met Colonel Roberto Perdiza at a nightclub three years ago and was living with him.
After the assassination, relatives and friends continued to receive messages from someone impersonating the colonel, at which point they began to suspect the content and form of the messages.
Jerusa and her accomplice are in jail. They will face charges of robbery resulting in death and could receive a sentence of 30 years in prison.
