Michel Temer has a partial blockage in a coronary artery and will undergo a catheterization procedure in the coming days.
According to TV Globo, Temer even considered carrying out the procedure last Friday (6).
However, he chose to postpone the artery unblocking procedure until after the Chamber of Deputies votes on the charges of criminal organization and obstruction of justice. The vote is expected to take place by the end of the month.
When contacted, the Presidential Palace stated that Temer is in perfect health. They added that the tests "did not reveal or report any problems to the president."
The President's press office also stated that, should any information differ from the official version, the person authorized to speak on the matter is the president's personal physician, Roberto Kalil Filho.
