With Guedes, Heleno, and Nogueira on the list, the Official Gazette publishes the dismissal of Bolsonaro's last ministers.

Decrees were signed on Saturday by the acting vice president, Hamilton Mourão, given that Jair Bolsonaro fled to the US before the end of his term.

Agência Brasil/EBC - O Official Gazette (DOU), published on January 1, 2023, decrees With the resignations of cabinet ministers from Jair Bolsonaro's government.

Among those dismissed are the ministers of Economy, Paulo Guedes; Labor and Social Security, José Carlos Oliveira; Environment, Joaquim Álvaro Pereira Leite; Mines and Energy, Adolfo Sachsida; the Institutional Security Office, Augusto Heleno Ribeiro Pereira; and Defense, Paulo Sérgio Nogueira de Oliveira.

The decrees were signed this Saturday (31) by the acting vice-president of the Presidency of the Republic, Antônio Hamilton Martins Mourão.

On Friday (30), then President Jair Bolsonaro traveled to the United States (USA), when he handed over the exercise of the Presidency of the Republic to the vice-president, Hamilton Mourão.

Now officially a former president as of today, Bolsonaro is expected to remain in the US until at least the end of this month.
