Queiroz case: Prosecutors include relatives of militia member who worked with Flávio as suspects.
Raimunda Veras Magalhães and Danielle Mendonça da Costa, who worked in the office of current Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PSL) in the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro, are now on the list of those under investigation, along with Flávio himself and his advisor Fabrício Queiroz.
247 - The Public Prosecutor's Office of Rio de Janeiro has decided to include the mother and wife of the militia member and former Military Police captain Adriano Magalhães da Nóbrega in the investigations into atypical financial transactions of former aides to Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PSL-RJ). This information comes from the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo.
Raimunda Veras Magalhães and Danielle Mendonça da Costa, who worked in the office of then-deputy Flávio Bolsonaro in the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro, are now on the list of those under investigation, along with Flávio himself and Fabrício Queiroz.
The investigation concerns the suspicious movement of R$ 1,2 million over 13 months, made by Queiroz, as indicated in the report produced by the Council for the Control of Financial Activities (Coaf). In a written statement to the Public Prosecutor's Office, the former aide said he collected salaries and redistributed them to a larger network of people to expand the support network for the congressman. However, he claims that Flávio was unaware of this practice.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, Queiroz practiced the so-called "rachadinha" scheme, in which aides return part or all of their salary to the parliamentarian, in this case Flávio Bolsonaro.
The mother and wife of the militia member Adriano worked in Flávio's advisory office until November of last year and each received a salary of R$ 6.492. Raimunda is also mentioned in the Coaf report for having transferred R$ 4.600 to Queiroz's account.
Nóbrega is identified as one of the leaders of the criminal group known as the Crime Office. This gang, composed of current and former police officers, whose main activity is allegedly carrying out contract killings, is also suspected of involvement in the assassination of councilwoman Marielle Franco (PSol) and her driver, Anderson Gomes.
