Captain Chloroquine is ordered to pay R$ 10 in a lawsuit against Aziz.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Mayra Pinheiro, lost a lawsuit against Omar Aziz for criticisms he made during the Covid-19 Parliamentary Inquiry Commission.
Metropolises - The 18th Civil Court of Brasília dismissed all requests from Mayra Isabel Correia Pinheiro, known as Captain Chloroquine, in the lawsuit in which she sought compensation from the president of the Covid-19 CPI, Senator Omar Aziz (PSD-AM). Mayra Pinheiro was also ordered to pay R$ 10 (10% of the value of the case) in attorney's fees and court costs.
Mayra Pinheiro, Secretary of Labor Management and Health Education at the Ministry of Health, alleged in court that the senator marked her performance leading the Covid-19 CPI with "demonstrations of misogyny." She also stated that Omar Aziz publicly offended her "dignity, honor, and professional standing."
