Candidates seeking admission to public higher education institutions can now check available vacancies on the Unified Selection System (Sisu) portal. The search can be done by institution, city, or course on the Sisu website. This year, 56.422 vacancies are offered in 65 public higher education institutions for the second semester of this year.

Registration will be open from Monday (30) to June 2. The number of places has increased by 1,5% compared to the approximately 55,6 offered in the second semester of last year. Students who took the 2015 National High School Exam (Enem) and did not score zero on the essay can participate in Sisu.

The results will be released on June 6th, and registration must be completed between June 10th and 14th. Those who are not selected may participate in the waiting list between June 6th and 17th. Candidates on the waiting list will begin to be contacted starting June 23rd.

When registering, candidates must choose, in order of preference, up to two options from among the vacancies offered by the institutions participating in Sisu. Candidates must also specify whether they wish to compete for general admission vacancies or vacancies reserved for affirmative action. During the registration period, candidates can change their options. The last confirmed registration will be considered valid.

Once a day, the cut-off score for each course is published, based on the number of available places and the total number of candidates registered for that course, by competition category. The cut-off score is only a reference to help the candidate monitor their registration and does not guarantee selection for the offered place.
