Boulos: Pedro Parente is leaving none too soon.

"Pedro Parente is leaving none too soon. The disastrous pricing policy of Petrobras and the underhanded privatization caused damage that the Brazilian people are feeling in their pockets. Parente is gone, now Temer is next!", stated Guilherme Boulos, the PSOL presidential pre-candidate.

247 - "Pedro Parente is leaving none too soon. Petrobras' disastrous pricing policy and the de facto privatization have caused damage that the Brazilian people are feeling in their pockets. Parente is gone, now Temer is next!", stated Guilherme Boulos, the PSOL presidential pre-candidate, on Twitter.

Petrobras CEO Pedro Parente resigned on Friday morning, the company said in a statement, amid discussions about the oil company's pricing policy.

Petrobras said that the appointment of an interim president will be reviewed by the Board of Directors. "The composition of the other members of the company's executive board will not undergo any changes," the state-owned company said. The São Paulo stock exchange B3 suspended trading in the company's shares after the announcement.
