247 - Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) presented on Monday night (29) a case of vomiting and hiccups described as “the most intense so far”, according to a publication made on X (former Twitter) by his son, Carlos Bolsonaro, city councilor in Rio de Janeiro.
“My family and I are assessing whether we need to take my father back to the hospital. He is experiencing a severe case of hiccups accompanied by four episodes of vomiting, which he himself described as the most intense so far. Michelle is helping him feel more comfortable and calm while the doctor is already on his way home to evaluate the situation. Please pray for him!” wrote Carlos.
Bolsonaro is under house arrest in Brasília, after being sentenced by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) on September 11 to 27 years and 3 months in prison for attempted coup d'état. According to Carlos, a private doctor has already been contacted to assess whether a new hospital referral will be necessary.
The former president claims to be facing recurring health problems. Family members and allies have reported bouts of hiccups, reflux, and gastrointestinal discomfort in recent years.
Tarcísio's visit
