Before the scenes of vandalism and destruction of public property, Bolsonaro's allies saw a medium risk of the former head of the Executive branch being arrested, but, according to them and ministers of higher courts, now "Bolsonaro's situation has become extremely delicate," writes Gaspar in her column. She points out that the greatest fear in Bolsonaro's circle is with two investigations in the hands of Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Federal Court: the fake news inquiry and the digital militias inquiry.

“After today, Alexandre will have all the support he needs,” says a colleague of Moraes at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).

"I think that, in the medium term, he won't escape," assesses one magistrate.

The number of people arrested for the attacks in Brasília has already surpassed 400, according to the Civil Police of the Federal District (DF).
