Brazil Agency - President Jair Bolsonaro felt unwell this afternoon (2), presenting nausea and vomiting, according to a medical bulletin released by Hospital Albert Einstein, in the capital of São Paulo. He uses a nasogastric tube to be fed.
Despite feeling unwell, Bolsonaro has no fever and is not in pain. Laboratory tests performed on the president are normal. Doctors are still advising that visits be restricted. Only his wife Michelle Bolsonaro and son Carlos Bolsonaro are with the president.
Despite the medical team's request that the president avoid emotional stress, Carlos Bolsonaro revealed on social media that his father is watching the Palmeiras vs. Corinthians game this afternoon in the Campeonato Paulista. Carlos Bolsonaro also asked for prayers for his father's recovery.
"This afternoon my father had a relapse, but he is in the hands of exceptional professionals and the situation has normalized. He is resting and watching his team play. Please continue with your prayers and support! It makes all the difference," wrote Carlos.
