President Jair Bolsonaro announced on Tuesday (8), on his Twitter account, the main topics of today's ministerial meeting (8). The president said he will listen to each minister about plans, proposals for streamlining ministries and measures for rapid implementation. According to the president, "the country can no longer wait".

This is the second meeting in five days. The first was on the 3rd, also at the Palácio do Planalto, when the Chief of Staff, Onyx Lorenzoni, advocated for reduced spending, staff cuts, and seeking dialogue with the opposition and the National Congress.

"In less than two weeks of government, yet another meeting to hear from each of the ministers about their plans, proposals for streamlining their ministries, and measures for rapid implementation. Our country can no longer wait. Soon, we'll see news along the lines that Brazilians have always demanded."

The meeting of the Council of Ministers, which includes the entire team, is scheduled for 9 am at the Planalto Palace. The last one lasted about four hours.
