Bolsonaro says some centrist congressmen are 'really no good'
"That doesn't mean that everyone there deserves to be rejected by society," he said.
247 - JAir Bolsonaro said this Monday (10) That parliamentarians who are part of the Centrão "really are no good." During an interview with Jovem Pan, Bolsonaro justified his affiliation with Valdemar Costa Neto's PL party by saying that to run for election, he needs to have a party affiliation.
“You voted for a guy who was from the center. I was in the PP for a long time, I was in the PTB, I was in the then PFL. That doesn't mean that everyone there deserves to be rejected by society. Some who are there really aren't good enough, just like most of the left isn't any good,” Bolsonaro stated.
"For me to approve anything in Congress, I need 308 votes (...) Take people out of the center, because 'centrão' is a pejorative term, and look for someone else? The PSOL, the PCdoB, the PT, the Rede, the Novo? I won't have the votes," he added.
