According to the column by journalist Malu GasparAccording to O Globo, the affiliation will take place at the event where federal congresswoman and Bolsonaro supporter Carla Zambelli will formalize her move to the party.

“Netinho, better known for the success of the Bahian carnivals with Mila, was invited by Zambelli to be a vote-getter for Bolsonaro supporters in Bahia. Maurício, on the other hand, became close to the Bolsonaro family through exchanges of messages on social media after the defeat of the men's volleyball team at the 2021 Olympics,” the report says. “Zambelli's idea is to launch a network of parliamentarians at the event called 'Loyalty above all else',” the text highlights.

With this, there are already 20 parliamentarians who have left their parties to follow Jair Bolsonaro in his new party. The exodus of parliamentarians should raise the PL's representation to 54 deputies, second only to União Brasil, which has 56 parliamentarians in the House.
