247 - Researcher and essayist João Cezar de Castro Rocha harshly criticized key figures in the Bolsonaro movement amid the diplomatic crisis between Brazil and the United States triggered by President Donald Trump's announcement of a 50% tariff increase. According to him, the reaction of former President Jair Bolsonaro's allies reveals submission and betrayal of national sovereignty.

"Bolsonarism signed its own death certificate today, because there can be no patriotism for a foreign land," he declared.

João Cezar described Eduardo Bolsonaro as a "traitor to the nation" and said that Jair Bolsonaro, in trying to evade investigations at the Supreme Federal Court, "reiterated his already diminished historical stature."

The researcher also mocked the letter sent by Trump to the Brazilian government as a "message from a teenager who ran away from school," full of capital letters and empty of content. According to him, it is an absurd attempt to interfere in the Brazilian justice system, conditioned on commercial threats.

Criticism was also leveled at Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, accused of "shaming the Brazilian Army" by showing subservience to Trump, and at Romeu Zema, directly described as "brainless."

João Cezar spared no criticism of the Bolsonaro-supporting influencers and congressmen:

"Selling even their own souls to monetize, they showed that they are not just from the Mata Congress, they are above all mongrels."

According to him, all these characters are headed for the "dustbin of history," while Brazil, faced with this attempt at foreign interference, must reaffirm its democratic and legal sovereignty.
