Former Secretary-General of the Presidency and pre-candidate for mayor of Rio, Gustavo Bebianno, died this morning after a sudden heart attack, at the age of 56. The information comes from the state president of the PSDB party, Paulo Marinho.
Bebianno was at his property in Teresópolis with a caretaker and his son. According to Marinho, around 4:30 a.m. he told his son that he was feeling unwell and went to the bathroom to take some medicine. Minutes later, he fell and suffered head injuries.
Bebianno was taken to a hospital in the city, but he did not survive.
