247 – A Brazilian Air Force (FAB) plane that was flying over the city of Bom Jardim da Serra, in the mountains of Santa Catarina, exploded upon impact with the ground around 14:00 PM today. Between six and eight people were on board. There is no official information yet about fatalities. According to witnesses, the plane lost altitude, crashed, and exploded upon reaching the ground. Strong winds hit the region where the accident occurred on Tuesday.
