247 - Army Colonel José Placídio Matias dos Santos, an advisor in the Institutional Security Office (GSI) for three years during Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) government, called for a coup on social media.

Furthermore, he threatened the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino (PSB), and confirmed that "hundreds of active-duty military personnel" participated in the terrorist acts promoted by Bolsonaro supporters in Brasília on the 8th of last month.

On the 8th, José Placídio dos Santos published a message addressed to the Army commander, General Júlio César de Arruda, advocating insubordination to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). "General Arruda, Brazil and the Army expect you to fulfill your duty of not submitting to the orders of the greatest thief in the history of humanity. You have always had and still have my respect. Strength!"

"Brasília is buzzing with the actions of the patriots. An excellent opportunity for the Armed Forces to get involved, this time on the right side. Where are the brave colonels with the troops in hand?", he also wrote.

After the newspaper Estado de S. Paulo highlighted his posts, the colonel deleted the content.

On the 9th, in the face of all the destruction caused by Bolsonaro supporters, the colonel blamed alleged "infiltrated riotous leftists".

"Do people know that there were hundreds of active-duty military personnel at yesterday's demonstration in Brasília?", he also posted.

Regarding Flávio Dino, the attack also included homophobic undertones. "The Minister of Justice is feeling empowered [sic]. Your glitter is going to run out."

The Army has not commented on the matter.
