      To those who hate, forgiveness. They know not what they speak.

      I extended my hand and received a tight hug, like someone hugging a child. That's how I felt. But the most moving and beautiful moment was what happened with my student. Pedro Henrique, 16 years old, wrapped in a red flag, said a few words while crying, and they hugged, recounts Sandra Brandini, who wrote her impressions of Marisa Letícia's wake; Pedro left to give way to another, Lula pulled Pedro by the arms and hugged him again, but hugged him for a long time and emotionally. It was impossible not to be moved there. Those who saw it were moved too. But I know what Lula saw in Pedro: sincere love and HOPE in youth!!!! The 16-year-old boy, with teary eyes, was a small breath of fresh air. I saw it! I saw it in both of their eyes, she concludes.

      "I just got back from Mrs. Marisa's wake. I went early, waited in line for the private ceremony to end and the gates to be opened to the public. Halfway up the stairs, they announced: be patient, Lula insists on shaking everyone's hand."

      I thought: how? I looked at the line, I couldn't imagine what it would be like. I went ahead, with my friend and a 16-year-old student. When it was my turn, all I could say was: I bring all my love and gratitude to you and Mrs. Marisa. Go for it, Mr. President!!!

      Pedro steps aside to make way for another, Lula pulls Pedro by the arms and hugs him again, but this time for a long, emotional hug. It was impossible not to be moved there. Everyone who saw it was moved too. But I know what Lula saw in Pedro: sincere love and HOPE in youth!!!! The 16-year-old boy, with teary eyes, was a small breath of fresh air. I saw it! I saw it in both of their eyes.

      Lula is the man!!!
