Altman: Replacing Bolsonaro with Mourão doesn't solve the problems of the Brazilian people.
According to the journalist, an impeachment at this moment could open windows for the elite to reorganize themselves in society and gain more power. "His downfall is in the interest of the elites who want to replace him with Mourão," he further states.
247 - Journalist Breno Altman, in an analysis on TV 247, expresses his opposition to the impeachment of Jair Bolsonaro. "His downfall is in the interest of the elites who want to replace him with Mourão and maintain the same ultraliberal program, a program that led to the destruction of Brazil."
Altman argues that the solution is to annul the 2018 elections and remove Bolsonaro and Mourão from office. "The only way out is to call for new direct democratic elections, electing a patriotic and popular government," he says.
He adds that an impeachment at this time could open windows for the elite to reorganize in society and gain more power.
