247 - In response to allegations that the Federal Highway Police (PRF) is hindering voters, especially in the Northeast, from reaching the polls, the PRF's director-general, Bolsonaro supporter Silvinei Vasques, appeared before the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) on Sunday afternoon (30) to provide explanations. Speaking to the press, the president of the Electoral Court, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, stated that the operations were suspended, but that voters were not prevented from voting.

"The inconvenience caused to voters was the delay, but I repeat: no bus returned to its origin. All went to the polling station," he said. According to the minister, the vehicles stopped by the Federal Highway Police on the roads underwent a 15-minute inspection, and none of them were forced to return to their origin and were able to travel to their destination without hindrance.

The minister assured that there will be no postponement of the end of the voting period.
