Brazil's Attorney General's Office (AGU) requests the freezing of R$ 18,5 million belonging to financiers of terrorist acts.

The Attorney General's Office is investigating 52 individuals and 7 companies that allegedly financed buses used in illegal occupations in Brasília.

247 - The Attorney General's Office (AGU) requested this Thursday (19) an increase of R$ 12 million in the blocking of money from people and companies that financed the coup attempts in Brasília (DF), where supporters of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) invaded Congress, the Planalto Palace and the Supreme Federal Court (STF) on the 8th. A total of R$ 6,5 million was the initial amount of the blocking requested by the AGU. But the restoration of the three headquarters could cost more than R$ 18 million.

According to the UOL portalThe Attorney General's Office is targeting 52 individuals and 7 companies that financed buses used in the coup attempts.

The agency reported that, according to initial estimates, Bolsonaro supporters caused losses of R$ 7,9 million to the Presidential Palace, R$ 5,9 million to the Supreme Federal Court, and R$ 6,5 million to Congress. 

The amounts refer to the damages caused to the three institutions.
