Brazil's Attorney General's Office attacks prosecutor who broke his silence in the Public Prosecutor's Office and called Bolsonaro a scoundrel.
Brazil's Attorney General's Office has decided to open an investigation against Paulo Brondi, a member of the Goiás Public Prosecutor's Office, who stated that Bolsonaro is a "scoundrel," a "second-rate macho," and "the rotten part of a sick country." According to journalist Juca Kfouri, this constitutes an attack on freedom of expression.
247 The Attorney General's Office (AGU) has decided to open an investigation against Paulo Brondi, a member of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Goiás, who stated on his social media that Bolsonaro is a "scoundrel," a "half-baked macho," and "the rotten part of a sick country," breaking the institution's silence on the government.
The prosecutor's criticisms were published by journalist Juca Kfouri on his blog on UOL. He was also the one who... reported the decision of the Attorney General's Office. Regarding the opening of the investigation, the journalist believes it constitutes an attack on freedom of expression.

Bolsonaro is a scoundrel. There is no other adjective that fits him better. His sons are also scoundrels, decrepit and ignorant. Most of those who surround him are also scoundrels.
But that's not all. And something that's becoming clear is even worse. If these were the only scoundrels, the problem would be smaller.
But how many other scoundrels are there in this country who see their own image and likeness in Bolsonaro?
That idiot uncle at the barbecue, that crooked neighbor, the moralistic but deceitful friend, the shameless coworker…
Bolsonaro, and it was no secret to anyone, perfectly reflects that despicable side of society.
His election brought out of the closet the most vile creatures, regulars of the gutter, who commonly crawl in secret, far from the eyes of the people.
Bolsonaro is not the creator, he is merely the creature of this despicable situation, which today he represents not by force, not by coup, but, believe it or not, by direct vote. He is not, therefore, a satrap, in the primary sense of the term.
In 2018, the final showdown wasn't between two sides of the same coin. It was, rather, between civilization and barbarism. Barbarism won. 57 million Brazilians placed it in the seat of power.
Therefore, Marx's lesson is elementary and always relevant: "It is not enough to say that your nation was taken by surprise. A nation cannot be forgiven for the moment of inattention in which the first adventurer managed to violate it."
Many regretted it, it's true. However, it's even more true that the vast majority of that electorate still cheers every stupid, idiotic, and worthless phrase uttered by the chief imbecile.
Bolsonaro is not an exceptionally wicked person. There are tons of them like him all over Brazil.
The Bolsonaro supporters, like the "Decemberists" of Louis Bonaparte, are that troupe of "lazzaroni," many of them socially maladjusted, that "coterie" that applauds the vituperations and follies of their "idol." People from the elite, the middle class, and the lumpenproletariat.
They call themselves "politically incorrect." Nonsense. It's just grammatical engineering to "gourmetize" the idiot.
Jair Messias is a half-baked "macho." He's fragile, brittle, and elusive. He has nothing masculine about him. He's an affected, insecure man.
And, like him, there are tons of others out there too.
Bolsonarism has gathered before it a collection of failures, of marginal figures, of spiritless beings, a rabble whose existence had previously lacked any useful meaning. A resentful, rotten, voiceless mob that has now found its perfect representative.
Bolsonarism dared to fly high, but the fall could be infinitely more painful, sooner or later.
Not all Bolsonaro supporters are scoundrels, but all scoundrels are Bolsonaro supporters.
Jair Messias Bolsonaro is the rotten part of a sick country.
