Agripino: 'Elections aren't won solely through emotion'

The coordinator of the PSDB campaign, José Agripino Maia (DEM-RN), downplayed the risk to Senator Aécio Neves from Minas Gerais if Marina Silva enters the electoral race: “Elections aren't won just with emotion. Numerous components are involved. It's necessary to show unity, develop a coherent project, list proposals, and attract good candidates.”

247 – Given the repercussions of Marina Silva's entry into the electoral race, the coordinator of the PSDB campaign, José Agripino Maia (DEM-RN), downplayed the risk to Senator Aécio Neves from Minas Gerais.

"Elections aren't won solely through emotion. Numerous components are involved. It's necessary to show unity, develop a coherent project, list proposals, and attract good candidates," he said, referring to the death of Eduardo Campos which led Marina to the polls.

In an interview with Online PowerHe states that the former senator will still face difficulties in unifying the PSB and showing what she's capable of: "In the medium term, much of what is happening now will dissipate."
