Agnaldo Timóteo warns: Congress is gay.

And this could favor the impeachment process of the homophobic congressman Jair Bolsonaro.

By Leticia Moreli – The controversy surrounding the fascist comments made by federal deputy Jair Bolsonaro (PP-RJ) in an interview on the CQC program last Monday is setting the virtual world ablaze. This Thursday, numerous campaigns were launched on Twitter against the deputy (one of them led by this newspaper with the hashtag #chamaobolsonaropropau), and brought to light some surprising revelations. If it depends on the testimony of councilman Agnaldo Timóteo (PR-SP) – who has already served two terms as a federal deputy – Bolsonaro's mandate is at serious risk of being revoked. "Congress is full of faggots," the singer-politician declared.

Interviewed by Brasil 247, Agnaldo said that the congressman was unfortunate and rude in his words. He added: "The military is also full of gays. You can't be homophobic in the middle of a bunch of gays, people."

However, in the councilman's opinion, Bolsonaro's statements are not so serious. “Bolsonaro is an uncontrolled and audacious man, he has courage, he faces the greatest adversities. I regret the fragility of black people who regret being called black and of homosexuals who are embarrassed to be called homosexuals,” he said. “We can be whatever we want,” he added. Timóteo believes the congressman had difficulty responding to provocations. “I regret that there are inconsistencies in conduct. Bolsonaro was impolite and incompetent,” he considered.
