This world of ours is really very strange!!!
Two presidents from two great republics meet and publicly state that there is a possibility their armed forces will invade Venezuela to overthrow another president, also elected.
The cynicism lies in the justification for this absurd war: to restore democracy in that country (sic).
It is also strange that the mainstream press, its commentators and invited academics (chosen to say what it wants them to say) are not outraged by the possibility of this imperialist war. They keep debating the situation in Venezuela and the various aspects of the conflict, as if it were normal, as if it were natural...
The UN is worthless and International Law can go in the trash can!!!
However, our young soldiers are going to the cemetery!!!
Similarly, young people in Venezuela will die. They will die so that foreign countries can impose, by force, what they consider to be democracy.
One question: who will plunder Venezuela's oil, gas, gold, and other natural resources?
One thing is certain: it will be a good pretext for the Americans to place troops in the Amazon. Once this act of possession is complete, they will not leave "our" Amazon again...
In all my 69 years, I never imagined that Brazil could militarily invade a neighboring and friendly country.
