Aécio holds Luislinda, the "slave," in the Temer government.

After declaring that she is doing slave labor because she is not receiving R$ 61, the sum of her salary as a minister and her retirement pension as a judge, Minister Luislinda Valois (Human Rights) remains in the government by decision of some members of the PSDB party; the minister was warned by her interlocutors in the party that she will remain in charge of the ministry if she does not speak about the matter again; she was nominated for the position by Senator Aécio Neves (MG), whom she admires, and is close to Minister Antonio Imbassahy, also from Bahia.

247 - The government pushed the decision of whether or not to keep Minister Luislinda Valois in office to the PSDB party after she filed a document stating that she is working under the influence of slave labor because she is not receiving R$ 61, the sum of her salary as a minister and her retirement pension as a judge, and requesting to circumvent the constitutional salary cap.

The minister was warned by her interlocutors in the party that she will remain in office if she doesn't speak about the matter anymore. She was nominated for the position by Senator Aécio Neves (MG), whom she admires, and is close to Minister Antonio Imbassahy, also from Bahia.

Minister Luislinda's dissatisfaction with her paycheck was already known to her employees. She threatened to fire the employee who informed her that her salary would be reduced by R$ 27 due to the salary cap rule.

As revealed by the Estadão newspaper column, due to the law, the minister is only entitled to receive R$ 3.292 gross for this work.

"Luislinda was one of the only issues that unified the PSDB. The caucus would like her to acknowledge the serious mistake and apologize," summarized Congressman Betinho Gomes (PSDB-PE), regarding the minister's request to receive a salary above the legal limit.
