When asked about reports that the president of the Senate, Renan Calheiros, and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Eduardo Cunha, are among those mentioned in the requests for investigation, the politician from the PSDB party stated that he was not yet aware of this information.
"I think now we all need to remain calm and wait for the justice system to do its job," he stated.
The Attorney General's office sent 28 requests on Tuesday night to investigate 54 people involved in Operation Lava Jato.
