With the theme "Agribusiness moves Brazil, and solar energy propels this giant of the national economy," the event will take place on March 19th in Brasília.
247 - The Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association (Absolar) will bring together, on March 19th of this year, in Brasília (DF), businesspeople, consultants, public authorities and specialists for a series of debates on advances and the future of solar energy in the Central-West region and in the country. This is the Absolar Meeting Central-West, an event that discusses new business and investment opportunities for companies in the sector, both nationally and in regional development.
With the theme "Agribusiness moves Brazil, and solar energy drives this giant of the national economy," the event, expected to have 300 attendees, will feature guests João Martins da Silva, president of the Brazilian Agricultural and Livestock Confederation (CNA), Décio Lima, president of Sebrae Nacional, Vinicius Marchese, president of the Federal Council of Engineering and Agronomy (Confea), Senator Teresa Cristina, and Federal Deputy Pedro Lupion.
It will also feature Absolar's own board of directors, including Ronaldo Koloszuk, Chairman of the Board, and Rodrigo Sauaia, CEO. The meeting will also include the presence of players and experts from the solar energy sector in the region and the country.
According to data from Absolar, self-generation of solar energy has already attracted more than R$ 27,9 billion in investments to the states of the Central-West region and the Federal District, with a total installed capacity of more than 6 gigawatts (GW) in homes, businesses, industries, rural properties, and public buildings.
The purpose of the Absolar Meeting Centro-Oeste, hosted by Banco BV, is to collaborate with companies in generating new business in the solar energy sector, especially in the agribusiness market, a strong point of the entire region, as well as to expand relationships and... networking between suppliers, integrators, manufacturers and customers that make up the solar energy value chain in the country.
At the event, which also has the support and partnership of Ecom Energia, Growatt, Solar Group, Sungrow, and WEG, three panel discussions and lectures will be organized with experts on the advancements of solar energy in the region and in Brazil, economic, environmental, and social development from photovoltaic sources, project financing models, and the advancement of entrepreneurship in the sector, among other topics. Registration begins at 8:00 AM, the lectures at 9:00 AM, and the activities conclude at 6:00 PM.
