247 - The Director-General of Itaipu Binacional, Enio Verri, will participate this Tuesday (11) in Top ESG, the largest sustainability forum focused on sales and marketing in Paraná. Promoted by the Brazilian Association of Sales and Marketing Executives – Paraná Section (ADVB/PR), the event will be held at UP Experience, in Curitiba, and will bring together experts to discuss the integration of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) practices into business strategies. Itaipu Binacional is one of the sponsors of the meeting.

According to Verri, the incorporation of ESG practices by companies is essential to ensure balanced and sustainable growth. "Environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and transparent governance are fundamental for companies to effectively contribute to society and the environment," he states.

The event program will feature lectures and presentations of success stories. The opening will be given by journalist Rosana Jatobá, a sustainability specialist, who will discuss the impact of ESG on the corporate world. The president of ADVB/PR, Gislayne Muraro, emphasizes that the event has a practical character. "Our goal is to show that ESG and business strategy go hand in hand for a better world," she states.

Companies such as GT Building, Renault, Neodent, and Volvo will present successful initiatives in adopting sustainable practices. At the closing, environmental engineer Maria Constantino will speak about "The role of the marketing and sales leader in the ESG agenda." Creator of the most-watched TEDx talk on sustainability in Brazil, Constantino has already impacted more than 15 people with her talks.

According to Raphaela Borba, director of ADVB/PR and coordinator of the event, the initiative reinforces the need to place ESG at the heart of business strategies. "ESG is no longer an option, but a strategic necessity for any organization that wants to prosper in the long term," she emphasizes.
