Temer has melted down. The only way out is resignation and direct elections.

The leaked testimony of Odebrecht director Cláudio Melo Filho, revealed by the Lava Jato task force, is devastating for coup leader Michel Temer and the coup headquarters. Not a single pillar of the coup plot will remain standing.

Temer has melted down, and Brazil is melting down with him. The usurper president has completely lost the ability to govern. The country is being thrown into an abyss that could cause social upheaval: economic depression, unemployment close to 15%, and financial calamity in states and municipalities that will evolve into a humanitarian crisis.

The PMDB and PSDB, parties at the forefront of the coup, are facing an enormous historical responsibility. Allowing the illegitimate government to continue in order to finalize the anti-people and anti-nation setbacks is a crime that will be exacted with high interest in the future.

Brazil is calling for Temer's resignation. According to a DATAFOLHA poll, 63% want him to leave. Temer's resignation is urgently needed. To avoid a spiral of social calamity, Congress has an obligation to suspend the processing of PEC 55/16, the Pension Reform, and other agendas formulated by the illegitimate government, and prioritize the resignation of the usurper president and the holding of direct elections.

Temer was already in a dramatic survival situation since committing a crime of responsibility to sponsor the real estate interests of his partner Geddel Vieira Lima. Now, he has fallen into a coma. His condition is similar to that of a patient whose vital functions are mortally compromised and who is artificially maintained by machines that, at any moment, will be switched off.

He is mentioned 43 times in the 82 pages of the contractor's director's testimony. It's a remarkable criminal record, surpassed only by the performance of his representative, "Cousin" Eliseu Padilha, mentioned in 45 instances. "Angorá" Moreira Franco, another prominent member of the bribery ring, is mentioned 34 times.

This group that seized power by force promoted shady deals inside the Jaburu Palace. The construction company director highlights the solemnity of the extortion: "clearly, the location chosen for the meeting [Jaburu] was a symbolic choice aimed at giving more weight to the request for financial transfers." As revealed in the Geddel case, the headquarters of the criminal activity changed its address to the Planalto Palace.

Besides Temer and other officials from the heart of the Planalto Palace, other ministers were indicted: Mendonça Filho [DEM], José Serra [PSDB], and Bruno Araújo, a member of the PSDB party who, on April 17, 2016, delivered a strident and hysterical vote (number 342) for the fraudulent impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff regarding... international press He characterized it as "a general assembly of bandits led by a bandit named Eduardo Cunha".

The leadership in Congress, which guaranteed the survival of the coup government, was also severely affected. The whistleblower cited multimillion-dollar transfers to Renan, Jucá, Eunício Oliveira, Agripino Maia, Rodrigo Maia, as well as to opposition parliamentarians.

What's terrible for Temer and the coup-plotting society led by the PMDB and PSDB is that Cláudio Melo Filho's testimony is the first of a total of 77 plea bargain agreements signed with Odebrecht employees and executives alone. In addition to these, testimonies are being given by employees and directors of other construction companies. In other words, a storm that has only just begun.

It is obvious that all these circumstances were known to the Lava Jato task force and the media long before the impeachment fraud, but were selectively concealed to allow the coup d'état to be carried out.

Just recall Janot's famous list from March 2015, which, however, disappeared from the news and from police and judicial investigations so as not to hinder the progress of the coup and also to guarantee the protection of the PSDB.

The PSDB, Globo, and the coup-plotting oligarchy are orchestrating Temer's succession starting January 1, 2017, with an indirect election in Congress, the so-called "general assembly of bandits."

This solution is unacceptable because it will be a source of conflict and social tension on a dizzying scale. The way out for Brazil is the immediate resignation of Michel Temer and the calling of direct elections within 90 days. Only a government elected by popular sovereignty will have the legitimacy and strength to prevent the country from falling off the precipice.
