PSB, which supports the coup, is preparing to leave the Temer government.
As the political conditions for Temer remaining in the presidency deteriorate, the rats are the first to seek a way to survive. The same treacherous little mice of before, now, and always.
2017 is not expected to be any different from 2016. The crisis continues. And it couldn't be otherwise. What starts wrong rarely ends right, especially when it comes to politics.
Anyone who imagined that the PMDB would be capable of leading the country after working to remove its PT allies and President Dilma could only be, at best, a well-intentioned madman.
It has been widely said that Michel Temer and his group have lost the political conditions for governability due to receiving bribes from Odebrecht, have failed to gain popular support, and are now beginning to face difficulties with their allied base.
And since in this strange and specific Brazilian political world there are times to enter and leave the government, the PSB is the first party to reveal that it does not rule out the possibility of disembarking in another port. There are already positions on this in some states, such as Rio Grande do Sul.
The party's president, Carlos Siqueira, says that the party will obstruct the vote on the admissibility of the proposed amendment to the Constitution regarding pension reform in the Constitution and Justice Committee.
He also states that the party decided not to vote on anything controversial this year and that support for the government was never unconditional, even though the party was given the Ministry of Mines and Energy in the deal that removed Dilma.
In other words, as the political conditions for Temer to remain as president of the Republic deteriorate, the rats are the first to look for a way to survive.
The same treacherous little mice as before, as now, and as always.
Life goes on.
