Pragmatism and coups
Philosophy is a step above the status quo; we live reborn in a political universe, and pragmatism was born, grew, and continues to thrive—as a science—attributing to any object some practical effect during such praxis.
Contrary to what the pragmatic current preaches, which smacks of corporatism, lyricism preserves the subjective, the relative, and the abstract within its romantic core.
Charles S. Peirce (1839-1914) coined the term PRAGMATISM. He was an American mathematician, philosopher, linguist, and scientist. As previously stated, "we live resurrected in a political universe," and the term deals with "public affairs," with the administration of the polis. Where is Peirce, a pragmatist?
He was struck by contradictions and various refutations of the times, such as William James, who, for example, adopted a logical investigative approach and placed Peircean pragmatism in the category of utilitarian and merely psychological. Furthermore, Charles Peirce founded the doctrine of fallibilism, a philosophical principle that affirms that there are no absolute universalities; that is, humankind is destined to accept errors as successes, and vice versa.
We are governed by laws, but unfortunately, and apparently, fallibilism is at its core, building a production chain that doesn't affect everyone equally. And then coups are born, meaning "slap," "punch." After the presidential election, there's a transitional period where the errors and successes of the previous administration are assessed. Meanwhile, "slaps" and "punches" continue to be the political tool of a press fueled by hatred: a press that digs into the dirty bag of imperial right-wing ideology and tries to pull the rabbit out of the coup plotters.
There is a fallibilist pragmatism in the air, which goes far beyond what the Constitution, in its article 5, guarantees regarding the right to demonstrate.
But we certainly need to use Morin's (1990) theory of complexity to go beyond science, into a system that provides us with the trinomial: thinking-feeling-acting. After all, reality is unfinished, an eternal and chaotic flow.
