Deluded people

We are a deluded people, an immature and irresponsible nation, where the government, with its lotteries, deceives with the hope of gain, and we move from a cycle of hope to pure despair.

We are a deluded people, an immature and irresponsible nation, in which the government, with its lotteries, deceives with the hope of winning, and we go from a cycle of hope to pure despair.

We have a deeply rooted paternalism stemming from the State's incompetence and the citizen's dependence; we fail to build bridges for growth and development alliances. In every business, a crack opens up for corruption and fraud, where a lack of seriousness in dealing with public affairs is privileged.

We are driven by corruption, so it would most likely make no sense for the country to come to a standstill because of Lava Jato; on the contrary, we should grow and show that we have the logistics and infrastructure to respond adequately to the crises that affect and shake us.

A great nation, whose future never arrives and whose people are always dominated by governance, incapable of showing the way and reducing social imbalances and inequalities.

We wanted to give an example of income redistribution with social welfare programs and inclusion mechanisms, but the guarantees that existed are being lost; retirement, pensions, everything becomes more difficult when the government is wasteful and its agents engage in corruption, squandering public money.

But that's not all, every day we receive dozens of spam emails with viruses trying to trick us, we practice our football, it's simply ridiculous, and the television networks only announce match after match. Just compare it to the Champions League, with four clubs from Spain, Germany, and Italy, to see how far behind we are.

And in the increasingly frequent networks leased for religious proselytizing, our representatives in parliament have not the slightest idea of what a great nation is, and this became very clear in the confirmation hearing of the nominated Minister Fachin, due to the pettiness of some and the lack of a serious and rigorous debate on a national level.

Consistently, the gap between the country's regions is widening, and we have nothing to be proud of regarding what is happening: high and inflated prices, in the face of a bleak scenario that implies a generalized crisis, affecting not only the construction and automotive sectors, but the entire production chain.

The mistake happened because, by designing a financing model without investing in production, we caused a debacle that will last for many years; the most pessimistic say a decade.

Our financial market situation is no better, with fraud and inhospitable investigations failing to address the root causes or subject the guilty parties to appropriate prison treatment.

In contrast to the young and declining Brazilian nation, the scenarios in Europe and the USA are distinct, precisely because of the functioning of institutions and the break with the bias of corruption and personal favoritism.

Public banks were used for countless expenses, aid, subsidies, and loans, but now the situation is one of penury and a scenario that harms real estate financing. Even more serious, companies cannot obtain financing, and the stock market reflects a lack of confidence and low credibility in the eyes of foreign investors.

We experience short cycles of euphoria and long periods of desolation; this is the truest portrait of the Nation, whose people, despite the Constitution stating that all power emanates from them, continue to be drained, swallowed up, deceived, tricked, and shamefully plundered by the not-so-hidden forces of the government and unproductive sectors of the Brazil of tomorrow, of the future that never arrives, of the dreams and life projects buried by the absence of an effective society that knows what it truly wants and desires for its collective well-being.
