The coup is a bitter dish, already steaming in the oven, to be served at the people's Sunday lunch.

'The military conceives and sponsors coups, establishes dictatorships, and controls governments. It is up to democrats to take a stand against them,' warns Hildegard Angel.

Throughout the entire republican period, the military has considered itself the master of the country's destiny, and to that end, they spare no effort. They conceive and sponsor coups, establish dictatorships, and control democratically elected governments, wielding control over the economy.

Throughout the Republic, they conspire, stage coups, establish dictatorships, control democratically elected governments, and prevail. They occupy spaces that do not belong to them. They betray their own oaths.

Instead of defending the Fatherland, they use the arsenals provided to them for that purpose for the opposite end: to oppress the people in the name of their privileges, their priorities, their limited perceptions of Brazilian society, of Brazilian history, and of their own actions in power, always committed to denying freedom of thought, speech, and creation, to sacrificing cultural production with censorship, in an attempt to confine our entire multifaceted, diverse, enchanting, and spontaneous Nation within four walls, or crammed into a dungeon, a cellar, a basement decorated with objects for torturing people.

Relics of evil, which should be in museums to remind us of what they are capable of. However, the governments of the New Republic were conciliatory, they preferred to let it go, they didn't tell this story in schools, they didn't do their duty, they were lenient, they covered it up, they were intimidated.

A new coup is brewing. It is up to democrats to stand against this bitter dish, which some military figures want to force down our throats, under the pretext that it represents the desire of a supposed 'majority,' a segment of the population intoxicated by false truths, unable to distinguish between Democracy and Authoritarianism.

I'm feeling bad... But we will get through this, and with an urgent priority: the immense task of starting over from the basics. Defining what Democracy is, what Authoritarianism is. Those who saw it first have already left Brazil. Those who are truly committed to our country and our people stayed here, resisting, believing that institutions and common sense will prevail. That Democracy will win.

I can already hear the sound of boots in the background. Confusing the two forms of government, inverting their meanings and principles, making the illegitimate legitimate, and vice versa, has been the tactic of a war on several fronts, the most visible being that of communication, through social networks, undertaken, it is estimated, from 2014 onwards, by a militia-military-fascist faction, in a project initiated silently with the objective of the Armed Forces establishing themselves in power in Brazil for eternity, without limits, deadlines or an end date, under the leadership of the Army, implicitly and accepted by the other two branches of the armed forces.

God has already given proof this year that He is Brazilian. We need confirmation of that proof.
