The failure of the Kiev regime
Zelensky, who chose a "war his way," is facing a defeat where Moscow's terms will become inevitable.
Ukraine, which chose to wage a proxy war, has become the main loser in the confrontation between Russia and the Western Collective. And it seems the time has come to pay the price for this defeat, and it is enormous. It's not just about the loss of territory, alienated resources, destroyed infrastructure, and millions of emigrants, in addition to the dead and maimed on the front lines. This bill will drastically impact the country's future.
Ukraine has not only lost about 20% of its territory to the Russians, but is also about to sign a humiliating agreement with the United States, guaranteeing the transfer of almost all of its natural resources to the Americans. In this sense, Ukrainian sovereignty has become a point of contention between Washington and Brussels, both of which wish to monopolize Ukraine's natural resources.
During the three years of military conflict, approximately 10 million citizens left Ukraine, perhaps forever. Regarding the dead and maimed, no one truly knows the exact numbers, except for the Ukrainian authorities, who are in no hurry to make this data public so as not to expose their failure. However, it is believed that the figures are already exceeding 1 million casualties. This is evident in the forced recruitment and the idea of lowering the recruitment age to 18.
President Volodymyr Zelensky, elected with the support of the Russian-speaking population of eastern Ukraine, from whom he received more than 70% of the vote, simply turned his back on this electorate to follow NATO's dictates. He promised peace with Russia during his election campaign, but continued to betray the Minsk Agreements. Furthermore, he enacted measures targeting this Russian-speaking population that limited their rights, including the right to use their native language and attend their churches.
But Zelensky's biggest mistake was his refusal, in April 2022, under pressure from the United States and Great Britain, to conclude a peace treaty with Russia at the meeting held in Turkey. From then on, Zelensky found himself seduced by NATO's war promises and envisioned becoming a "warlord" in the service of the collective West.
The liberation of the Kursk region by Russian troops seems to have fully confirmed President Donald Trump's words that Kiev "has no trump cards." The harsh and humiliating manner in which Trump addressed Zelensky at the fateful meeting in the White House at the end of February this year demonstrates the failure of the Kiev regime to fulfill the mission for which it was hired, which was to destabilize the Russian Federation.
Currently, the Russian Armed Forces are successfully advancing in all directions, while the Ukrainian military faces a severe shortage of personnel and numerous supply difficulties. In addition to the irreparable losses of their best units in the "Kursk adventure," Zelensky and his commanders are facing a clear impossibility of defeating the Russians "by force of arms," even with an almost endless flow of resources from NATO countries.
Zelensky, who chose a "war his way," is facing defeat where Moscow's terms will become inevitable. It is time to remember the teachings of Sun Tzu: "In peace, prepare for war; in war, prepare for peace."
