Caio Thiago de Andrade Oliveira, originally from Piripiri, Piauí, and residing in Teresina, is transforming the surreal tweets of Carlos Bolsonaro, nicknamed Carluxo, into hilarious comic strips that are shared on Twitter. A cartoonist since 2003, when he published strips in a local newspaper, comics are still a hobby for Caio, who, along with his brother, runs a small bookstore specializing in comics in the Piauí capital. Fifth Cover Comics.
“The idea of turning one of Carluxo's tweets into a comic strip came spontaneously when I read one of his tweets that was so absurd I thought it would be fun to transform it into a really psychedelic strip,” says the cartoonist. “But the intention was to do just one, I never imagined it would have the impact it did! I decided to do more when I was told that the tweet I turned into a comic strip wasn't an official tweet from Carluxo, it was a joke.”
Carluxo's tweet that inspired the joke was already... very crazy And he spoke of an enemy with "wedged pants" who does "browjobs."
Then a parody account of Carlos made the satire, which many people believed to be true, given the bizarre things that Jair's second son usually posts on his Twitter profile.

Caio's first comic strip was based on a parody.

“The other strips were to prove that a tweet that's 100% Carluxo is just as psychedelic as the prankster profile,” says the cartoonist. After the positive response to the strips, the artist considered producing enough to release a small bound comic book with at least 22 strips, but ran into a dilemma: what if Carluxo wanted a share of the sales, claiming copyright on the wacky tweets?
"Whether he likes it or not, Carlos Bolsonaro would be the co-author and, as far as I understand, would have the power to block the release of this material or even file a lawsuit," Caio speculates. "So, I decided to put the production of these comic strips on hold until I better understand my situation. If any lawyer friend who knows about these things is reading this interview and can shed some light on this issue, I would be grateful."
