Never Temer and Never Trump, understand?
A large portion of Americans share and approve of Donald Trump's madness. In other words, the world runs a serious risk of having a madman as president of the most powerful country in the world.
Americans have the mission of choosing a future US presidential candidate who is at least on par with Barack Obama, the first Black president in American history, who served two successful terms, leaving a great legacy of peace and social justice, vehemently combating internal conflicts of racism and terrorist attacks.
The Republicans confirmed in the primaries the billionaire Donald Trump - the Outsider candidate - the one who runs as an outsider, and who is not only heavily criticized by Americans, but whose proposals are also controversial and bizarre.
On the other side, Hillary Clinton is running for the Democrats as the first woman to run for President of the United States. "I want to congratulate Senator (Bernie) Sanders on his extraordinary campaign. His vigorous debate in favor of higher wages, reduced inequality, and more opportunities for advancement has done a great deal of good for the Democratic Party and the United States. I believe we are stronger together, and the stakes in this election are high," declared Hillary, stating that the Republican "Donald Trump does not have the temperament to be president and commander" of the USA.
"It was very healthy for the Democratic Party to have competitive primaries. I think Bernie Sanders brought enormous energy and new ideas. And he energized the party and challenged it. I believe that made Hillary a better candidate," Obama declared.
Among Trump's bizarre and controversial proposals are:
1- Mosques under surveillance and suspected Muslims tortured.
2- Construction of "El Muro" to separate Mexico from the USA.
3- Mass deportation of immigrants and repeal of the law that grants automatic citizenship to their children.
4- Would there be a DRC with Putin (a discussion of cordial relations)?
5- It would impose business conditions on China.
6- Climate change is a myth.
7- He inflated his fortune from 2.5 billion to 10 billion according to the press.
8. Lower taxes for the rich.
9- Mental health versus firearms, don't change the law.
For me, the 10th and main reason why Americans shouldn't vote for Trump is that he's simply a megalomaniacal madman. Let me explain: a citizen who wants to implement "waterboarding," that is, the "drowning" technique to torture people, is against immigration, especially from Latin Americans (he forgot who saved the American economy), wants to cut more than half of the taxes in a country with approximately 322,3 million inhabitants, cannot be considered a completely normal human being.
The worst part is that in many states Trump beat both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton in the primaries. This also means that a large portion of Americans share and approve of his madness. In other words, the world runs a serious risk of having a madman as president of the most powerful country in the world. Despite this, I believe in a victory, even a narrow one, for Hillary Clinton, who will undoubtedly be the best option for the American presidency in the eyes of the world.
Trump in the US would be like Temer in Brazil, a coup government that would prioritize the rich at the expense of the poor. The unpopular measures there, as here, would cause incalculable damage to the world economy, leading the country (of the cowardly eagle, in the American case) to bankruptcy.
Only those who refuse to see similarities between Trump and Temer fail to notice. Both are megalomaniacs and extremely wealthy. Trump, according to Forbes, is declared to possess US$2,4 billion, far more than Temer declared to the Internal Revenue Service: R$7,5 million in 2014. But given that he gave his young son 2 million reais in real estate without declaring the origin of the money, he must have kept somewhere very safe, much more than that. Check it out here The data regarding Temer's assets.
Who knows, by combining the financial contributions from Cunha's Swiss trust, plus the business dealings with Temer (which Ciro Gomes claimed existed), the total amounts might come close to Trump's meager sums?
One thing you can be sure of, first of all: Out with Temer! Second: Out with Trump! Or, for Americans to better understand: Never Temer and Never Trump, understand?
