Palestinian struggle and solidarity defeat the Zionists.

The Palestinian people and their internationalist allies, primarily the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement, inflicted a heavy defeat on the Israeli Zionists by canceling the football match in the location where, 70 years ago, the aggressors perpetrated the massacre of the martyred Palestinian people. Today, the occupation has transformed into ethnic cleansing as part of the insane plan to "Judaize" Palestine. Nothing resembles Nazism more, which victimized millions of people who professed the Jewish religious faith.

Weeks earlier, the Sony organization had already suffered a heavy moral defeat with the withdrawal of the Bahian singer and composer, Gilberto Gil, former Minister of Culture, from performing in Israel.

Both decisions reveal that a growing number of representative figures are expressing, in different ways, their dissatisfaction with the horrific crimes of the Zionist state.

The recent massacre of over a hundred Palestinians since March 30, who were demanding respect for the sacred right of return to their homeland – recognized by United Nations Resolution 194 – by heavily armed Israeli troops cannot fail to shock the pacifist conscience of humanity.

The Zionist state is increasingly met with repudiation from peace-loving people and those who sympathize with the suffering of the martyred people. Only the most ardent reactionaries still give credence to a government that behaves like a pariah in the regional and international context, such as the White House chieftain, Donald Trump, who, in reaffirming the indestructible alliance with Israel, made yet another intolerable provocation against the Palestinian people by transferring the United States embassy to Jerusalem. Or Emmanuel Macron, who has already declared himself a friend of Netanyahu.

In Brazil, Zionists have the support of demagogic politicians and fanatical militants. Last week, during a religious demonstration, Israeli flags were distributed. A representative of the Zionist organization gave a fiery speech spewing hatred against those who defend justice and peace.

As always happens when the Zionist entity is the target of protests, groups defending Zionism go public through the generous spaces at their disposal in the media in an attempt to convince public opinion that Israel kills in self-defense, supporting their theses with a narrative in which they falsify historical facts.

They are trying to deny the obvious. In 1848 there was no partition of the former British protectorate, but simply occupation. The founding of Israel – which communists, democrats, and progressives supported in the face of the Nazi Holocaust of Jews – did not result, as the UN resolution predicted, in the creation of two states, but in a catastrophe for the Palestinian people.

Zionist groups in Brazil and around the world are habitually spreading lies and attempting to intimidate those who oppose them.

Meanwhile, on the day that Islamic communities celebrated Jerusalem Day, last Friday (8), Palestinian sources, quoted by PressTV, reported live fire and tear gas being fired at the demonstration that took place near the border east of Gaza.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has identified more than 600 wounded and four Palestinians killed by Israeli forces, including 15-year-old Haitham al-Jamal.

Israeli forces, under orders from the leadership of a pariah regime, coldly kill protesters.

The Palestinian ambassador to the United Nations has called for the General Assembly to approve a resolution condemning the Israeli action. The United States, unwavering allies and funders of the Zionists and their military aid providers, veto all draft resolutions condemning Israel's crimes.

But the Palestinian struggle continues, in their land, in diplomatic circles, and wherever there are popular masses to demonstrate. And throughout the world, wherever solidarity can be expressed clearly and without ambiguity.
