Lula is the star player of the game.

What is happening in Gaza is genocide, a result of colonialism, racism, arms race, and the absence of international solidarity.

Until yesterday, Bolsonaro supporters and part of the Brazilian right criticized Lula, calling him a "diplomatic dwarf." I ask: which head of state criticized Lula for his positions in the last 24 hours?

The Prime Minister of Israel asked global leaders to join him in criticizing President Lula, and so far no leader has supported Israel.

It seems like the tantrum is only happening in Brazil.

Lula said what the world already knows: what is happening in Gaza is genocide, a result of colonialism, racism, arms race, and the absence of international solidarity.

Below is an excerpt from the FEPAL letter:

“Zionism is a genocidal, colonial, supremacist ideology that imposes apartheid on the Palestinians. Its tactics are as violent as Nazi practices and it strictly follows the playbook of supremacist ideologies that the world knows and condemns. Lula, in this sense, in understanding the magnitude of the tragedy that Gaza is experiencing today, relates it to the unfortunate event of the Holocaust.”

"Speaking only of children, Israel kills, proportionally, at least 236 times more children than World War II."

“Israel is killing on an industrial scale. A miserable, defenseless population, 73% of whom are refugees from the Nakba between 1947 and 1951. Factually, there is no historical precedent for such horror.”

"The lack of international condemnation, especially from Netanyahu's Western allies, of Lula's statements, exposes the international isolation of 'Israel' and gives the Brazilian president, at the very least, tacit support."

Will Lula apologize? Of course not. Those who should apologize are the false Christians who worship war, revenge, blood, and death.

Another point: Whoever says that Brazil will suffer sanctions because of President Lula's statement is unaware of our trade relations. Israel is not a relevant economic "partner." It is only relevant to those who want to buy "First Mile" and other spy technologies.

Finally, let me clarify that calling Netanyahu a murderer or a genocidal maniac does not mean associating those labels with the entire Israeli people. Or when we spoke of the former president, were we talking about all Brazilians?
