The newspaper O Globo should write an editorial demanding the resignation of Temer himself, not of a minister.
It would be better for the newspaper O Globo to write an editorial apologizing to the Brazilian people for supporting the coup in the form of impeachment, arguing that the Temer government is illegitimate and calling for the return to power of the President elected to govern the country.
I recently read an editorial in the newspaper O Globo which, with great arrogance, demanded the resignation of the now former Minister of Transparency, Oversight and Control, Mr. Fabiano Silveira. In that text, the newspaper argues that Michel Temer should have used the same approach he employed with another member of his illegitimate cabinet, Senator Romero Jucá.
I would like to tell the newspaper that, in fact, the men and women who defend the truth, defend democracy and the sovereignty of the vote in Brazil, demand the immediate removal of the coup leader Michel Temer and not just the simple dismissal of ministers.
Because Michel Temer's rise to power is the result of a parliamentary-media coup in Brazil, the lightning-fast downfall of Minister Fabiano Silveira was no exception to the pattern of shady deals made for the PMDB's rise to power, as well represented by Romero Jucá.
Therefore, this group that's there, along with Michel Temer, the coup plotter, has been involved in politics for a very, very long time. The whole of Brazil knows it.
However, the mainstream media always failed to report these stories and are only doing so now because of the flood of recordings made by Mr. Sérgio Machado.
Well, there is absolutely no need for the newspaper O Globo to write editorials demanding the resignation of Michel Temer's ministers because the DNA of corruption is rooted, properly speaking, in this pathetic excuse for a coup plotter.
It is becoming clear to the Brazilian media that the people who need to fall are those who orchestrated the coup, and not just a few ministers.
It would be better for the newspaper O Globo to write an editorial apologizing to the Brazilian people for supporting the coup in the form of impeachment, arguing that the Temer government is illegitimate and calling for the return to power of the President elected to govern the country.
