Ban now, for the general peace of the Nation.

"May this appeal sensitize our parliamentarians with medical training, who can attest to how mentally incapacitated Bolsonaro is to exercise the Presidency of the Republic, especially in the current pandemic situation," writes Hildegard Angel, of Journalists for Democracy.

Posts with the hashtag #InterdiçãoJá (meaning "Interdiction Now") are multiplying on Twitter. May this appeal sensitize our parliamentarians with medical training, who can attest to how mentally incapacitated Bolsonaro is to exercise the Presidency of the Republic, especially in the current pandemic situation, when millions of Brazilians are at risk of death, and may a request be sent to Congress for his interdiction due to lack of mental health.

While impeachment proceedings are slow, following successive steps, incapacitation due to illness can occur with the necessary speed to prevent the spread of damage that this individual could cause to the Brazilian nation while remaining in a leadership position.

Those who watched his interview on Ratinho's show were astonished to see him defend gatherings of people and delegate to pastors the task of guiding the faithful on the necessary precautions in this epidemic situation, when the coronavirus is expanding dramatically in the country, infecting hundreds of people, perhaps already thousands, who will multiply in a short time into many hundreds of thousands.

Not only that, but Bolsonaro also downplayed, in the interview, the deaths of Brazilians that have already occurred, and those that will occur, in the context of this tragedy that has befallen us. Seeing him disregard lives is nothing new. Who doesn't remember his 1999 statement, "(...)Brazil will only improve when we go to civil war, doing the work that the military regime didn't do, killing about 30 (...)". And he added: "If some innocent people die, that's fine, innocent people die in every war." Some thought it was "a joke." Today, occupying power, with Brazil in a state of sanitary "war," he again downplays the deaths of Brazilians, influencing and contaminating with his evil thinking those followers who, with the fervor of religious fanatics, consider him a "myth."

A President of the Republic has as a fundamental principle of his office the defense of life, not just the life of a few, but the life of everyone, of each and every citizen. His normalization of deaths from illness, without any empathy, is unacceptable and could characterize him as a sociopath, lacking the minimum capacity to understand and analyze the dramatic moment the country is experiencing.

With a feeble mind, borderline intelligence, and apparently suffering from persecutory delusions, President Jair Bolsonaro needs to undergo immediate medical incapacitation for the general tranquility of the Nation.
